Natural quartz is the main component of Techno Quartz. Natural Quartz is a crystalline Silicon Dioxide, which is usually white r transparent but may assume various colors depending on the natural mix. It is very hard, acid-resistant and offers wide range applications. It is suited for kitchen countertops, vanities, tabletops, floor, walls.

Techno Quartz allows the end user to reinvent their places.

With quartz being one of nature’s most abundant minerals Techno Quartz firmly believes that being a responsible environmental partner is paramount to providing a quality product.

How Durable is Techno Quartz?

Techno quartz is a very hard material and has a high abrasion resistance. It is resistant to cracks and scratches. However, like most materials, excessive force and/or pressure from objects can damage the surface.

Techno Quartz is non-porous and has very low absorption rate. It is resistant to most stains caused by fruit juices, liquid food coloring, coffee, tea, wine, grapes and soft drinks.
Its non-porous nature provides maximum resistance to staining and fully eliminates the need for any sealing. The non-porous quality of the surface also greatly reduces the potential for bacterial growth.

Techno Quartz is resistant to acids. It does not acid etch from household acids such as lemon, vinegar, wine etc. That quality alone makes it a very appropriate replacement for the white marble look in your kitchen. It is an excellent choice for people who love the luxuriant look of white marble but do not want to contend with the maintenance required for white marble kitchens.

Do I Need to Seal Techno Quartz?

No. Techno Quartz is a non-porous surface, so you do not have to apply sealer to any Techno Quartz surface.

Can I Cut Directly on my Techno Quartz Countertop?

Techno Quartz surfaces are highly scratch resistant; however, avoid using sharp objects such as sharp knives or screwdrivers directly on the surface. The use of a cutting board is always recommended.

What are Engineered Stone Countertops?

Engineered stone surfaces are manufactured by combining ground quartz aggregates with a small amount of polymer resins for binding and pigments for color. Most engineered stone have approximately 93% natural quartz content.

Is Techno Quartz Heat Resistant?

Techno Quartz and all other commercially available quartz is structurally heat resistant only up to 300 Fahrenheit. It is less heat resistant than most stones and. It is not recommended to place hot pans and pots directly on the quartz surface, therefore use trivets or pads on your quartz surface. Sharp change of temperature may damage the surface. While quartz is a very durable material and your quartz countertop can last you a long time it does have some drawbacks. Limited heat and UV light resistance are 2 of those – they refer to all commercially available quartz, regardless of the brand.

What Finishes is Techno Quartz Available in?

Techno Quartz is available in a polished, honed (matte) and brushed finish. Polished finish requires minimal care and maintenance. However, the honed and brushed finish are more care intensive. They will require additional daily and weekly care. Weekly, the surface should be cleaned with Soft Scrub Liquid Gel and Bleach and thoroughly dried.

Is Caring for my Techno-Quartz Surface Really This Easy?

Techno Quartz’s is a low maintenance product. Due to its high density and non-porous qualities, normal cleaning with a damp cloth and mild detergent is all you need to keep your Techno Quartz surface looking great. Thoroughly rinse off the soap/mild detergent with hot water after use and dry with soft cloth or paper towel. To avoid dulling the surface shine, make sure to use a non-abrasive cleaner, and thoroughly rinse off with water after use. Those wishing to use environmentally safe cleaners may also use a combination of 50/50 vinegar & water, rinsing afterwards.

How to Clean Techno Quartz Stains?

Due to the nature of the surface design, it is recommended that common household spills like liquid droplets and rings are dried immediately. As with any matte product, owners of Concrete, Honed and Rough finishes may experience seeing an increase in smudges from everyday living. Weekly, the surface should be cleaned with Soft Scrub Liquid Gel and Bleach and thoroughly dried. Refer to the complete Techno Quartz Care & Maintenance Guide for full details.

Chemicals and Cleaners to Avoid

Prolonged exposure to any cleaning solution may cause permanent damage/discoloration to the countertop surface. We recommend using cleaning products between pH 5-11, as products outside this range may damage the surface. Avoid exposing Techno Quartz surfaces to chemicals with pH levels outside this range, such as oven grill cleaners, floor strippers, toilet bowl cleaners, oil soaps, tarnish removers, furniture cleaners, drain products, etc. Should your surface accidentally be exposed to any potentially damaging products, rinse immediately with water to neutralize the effect.
